Sottunga guest harbour is located right in the centre of the village, and Strandhugget BnB is right next to the harbour. When you arrive by boat, you are just a short walk from your accommodation, the restaurant and the island’s services.

The most important thing is to contact us in advance and let us know that you are arriving by your own boat. Please also tell us your boat’s length, draft and estimated arrival time, so that we can reserve a suitable berth for you.

This is especially important in July, when Sottunga guest harbour is popular and busy. Normally there is plenty of space, but in July the situation can change quickly.

What is available at Sottunga guest harbour?

The guest harbour has the main services needed by visiting boaters:

Why stop in Sottunga?

Sottunga is a great place to stop along your boating route. You do not need to try to see and do everything in one evening.

Once your boat is safely moored, you can walk a few steps to Strandhugget, take a shower, have dinner at Salteriet and spend some time by the sea.

Sottunga’s small church is right next to the harbour. If you want to explore a little further, there is also the beautiful fishing harbour of Skage and peaceful coastal rocks where you can simply relax and enjoy the archipelago.

Sottunga municipality also provides free bicycles for visitors, making it easy to explore the island without a car.
